Bypassing No Proofing on Form Fields

[BEP]

I understand that Word 97 is set to "No Proofing" when
using text form fields. I have a password protected .doc
and want to keep it that way but want user interface to
allow spelling and grammar check on the form fields ONLY.
Does anybody know a workaround to all proofing on the form
fields only?
