C++ errors on the brochure template

I am attempting to edit one of the brochure templates on
the Microsoft website. After 45mins of work (without
saving, yeah, yeah, I know!), I have a Microsoft Visual
C++ Runtime Libary error: Runtime error! abnormal
program termination. When I attempt to open the
recovered document, the error simply keeps popping back
up. HELP!
