We have a user who is unable to view new email in the root of his inbox past
a specific date when using Outlook2k3 in cached mode. However he has a few
rules setup that filter specific email to subfolders in his inbox. New
incoming messages that meet these rules can be viewed. Here are the
facts...
*User is using Outlook2k3, SP1. Mailbox is on Exchange2k SP3.
*All new email is viewable via OWA, Outlook2k, or Outlook2k3 when cached
mode is turned off.
*Administrators with higher Exchange permissions can see all email with
cached mode turned on if they login to the PC as themselves.
*Logging into any PC as this user produces the same problem (ie, it isn't
specific to his PC or that installation of Outlook).
*Turning off all the rules prevents any new email from being seen in cached
mode.
*We've tried deleting the OST and re-downloading all his email, but the
problem persists.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!
