Cached Names in "To" field go away

I am migrating users from Outlook 2003 configured for POP3 to Outlook 2003
on Exchange server. They have cached names that get autofilled when they
start typing in the "To" field, but they go away when I copied the original
profile, then added the Exchange server, and used that new profile as the
default.

Is there anyway to saved these cached names so that the autofill works?

they are stored in a cache file that is associated with the profile - it's
called *.nk2 - in your case, you should have one called profile_name.nk2 and
profile_name (2).nk2.
