calc hours from date/time to date/time

I need a formula to caluclate in hours(military) a
starting date/time to ending date/time. example:
12/01/01 01:30(same cell)12/02/01 14:00(same cell)= hours

=End_cell-Starr_cell

or with the start date/time in A1 and the end date/time in B1

=B1-A1

custom format as [hh]:mm:ss returns 36:30:00
