Calculate Payment expression error

Is your "Total Hours" field defined as a date field? If so
you may need to convert it to a number before using it in
a calculated field. Time is stored as the decimal portion
in a date field and you are apparently looking for a whole
number.

Total hours is a date/time field. How do i convert it to a number as its a
unbound text box?

i changed the format to general number on the text boxes propertys - but it
aint done anything
