Calculate with tolerance

Hello

Is it posible to calculate costs with a tolerance? I want to use
graphical indicators to see what the real costs are against the budget.
Now i want an indicator for under budget, one indicator for at budget
(with a tolerance of for example 5% or 100$) and on eindicator for over
budget.

Is that possible to work with the tolerance?

Sure.
Create a custom field which is based on the cost variance and set an
indicator on it.
To do this, go to the insert menu and select one of the custom fields
(number1 for example.
Right click the column header and choose customize
enter a formula - in this case, simply using the cost variance field should
be enough.
Then set a graphical indicator based on the ranges that you want.
