calculate years of service

Does anyone know how to calculate years of service in Excel? (ex. 3 years, 4
months)

Hi
Try this with your starting date in cell A2, You can remove the day section if
you don't want it.
DATEDIF(A2,TODAY(),"y")&" Years, "&DATEDIF(A2,TODAY(),"ym")&" Months and
"&DATEDIF(A2,TODAY(),"md")&" Days"
