calculating averages

In a report, i have a total count of number of referrals
according to "Intake Date". So let's say for the month of
August, there were 21 working days. within those 21
days,there were 195 referrals. How do i come up with a
daily average on the report that will tell me the average
number of referrals per day?

In an unbound text block type the following formula
=[#Referrals]/[#WorkingDays]. Obviously the field names
(Enclosed in square brackets[]) will need to be whatever
you have named the field. If there is no field and they
themselves are formulas in text boxes, simply replace the
appropriate formula into the space showing the filed name
above.
