calculating date differences?

I just started using Infopath 2003 since early December. I created a
sales/factory tracking form where I have an initiation date at the top of the
form (using the date picker).

In a second table, that's a repeating table, I added another date picker.

- I need to calculate a response time difference between the initiation date
and the second date picker.
- Also, each time that a new row is added from the repeating table, I need
the response date to be calculated between the initiation date and the date
picker from the new row.

is this possible and how can I go about doing this?

You have to use code to calculate date differences.

Typically I use the DateDiff in VB Script.

If you go to http://www.infopathdev.com and search on datediff you will find
many examples some even have code samples.
