Calculating diff in hours between 2 dates

I have 2 columns of dates and want to calculate the
difference in hours. The dates are in the format of the
below sample. How can I do the calculation ?

Eric,

Its all numbers under the covers, so just subtract 1 from the other. Make
sure you format the target cell as [hh:mm] in case it exceeds 24 hours.
