Hello,
I'm working on a sales report that takes all of the
machines sold by my company's dealers (even if they
weren't made by us), and breaks them down by dealer, then
by type of machine, then by manufacturer, then by model.
The report is set up to create subtotals by manufacturer
and type, along with percentages. However, the percentage
(or standard) for each mfr's subtotal is based on the
grand total of machines sold by all of my dealers for the
year. I would like those percentages to be on the number
of machines of that type sold by that dealer. For
example: I have a dealer that sold 71 Bobcat skid steers
last year. This dealer sold a total of 140 skid steers
last year. The percentage given after the 71-machine
subtotal is 1.00%, which is out of the 7,131 machine grand
total. I want the percentage given after the subtotal to
be 71/140 or 50.71%. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
