calculating percentages for columns

Hi,
I am not that good with excel and as I don't have the
book with me can you help? I want to calculate in column
B 30% of the totals in each cell of column a. Can you let
me know what the forula is please? Thanks!

Hi Wilma,

Start in B1 with this:

=A1*.30

Hit "Enter." Next, click B1 (to make it the active cell). Move your cursor
to the lower right hand corner of B1, until you see a "+", left click with
your mouse and hold down the button. Drag the cursor down until it is next
to the last cell in A which has values in it. Let go of your mouse button.
