Calculating purchases

John E.

Greetings, everyone:

I am designing a web site with FrontPage 2002. I'm learning how to do this
relatively fast, but I've come across a problem. I've already used up my
free tech support calls to Microsoft, and I don't want to pay them per
incident. So, I'm posing a question here.

I used the Form Page Wizard, and came up with something I'm comfortable
with. I have it set up so that a would be customer can click in a box to the
left of each item I want to sell. The description and price of the items
are to the right. As the "would be" customer selects the different boxes, I
would love to have a box below the items, that would total as the "would be"
customer selects the boxes.

In other words, if he or she clicks on a box that is next to an item that
sells for $2.00, then I'd like $2.00 to show up in the box below the items.
Then when they click another box, let's say, for $5.00, I'd like the total
in the "box" to read $7.00.

When the "would be" customer has finished clicking in the appropriate boxes,
they would see the total reflected in one box at the bottom of all my items.

I hope this makes sense...

Any help would be very much appreciated, needed.

Sincerely,
John E.
