Calculation options

Under the Tools, Options, Calculation tab I like to have the Iteration box
selected with 1,000 maximum iterations. Sometimes, however the Iteration box
becomes deselected. I'd like to prevent this from happening. Is there a way
to change the default setting for this? I've heard of it being done before.

This is a workbook setting that Excel gets from the first workbook opened in a
session.

Set it checked in your Personal.xls which you then open hidden.

This will set the iteration checked on for each workbook opened thereafter.

OR store your "always-open-first" workbook in your XLSTART folder.
