Calculation Preference

Apparently, last night, the Excel preference for calculation was switched to Manual, rather than Auto. I didn't purposely do it - in fact, haven't had the preferences open in Excel for months, if ever.

Spreadsheets from before yesterday seem to be fine. The ones I edited last night or this morning, I've had to reset the preferences one by one (they seem to be ok now).

Just a fluke or something I need to be worried about?

I don't think you need to worry about it, but just be aware of the
calculation state. The calculation mode is saved with the sheet. So if you
double click on a sheet to open Excel, and that sheet was in manual mode,
Excel will be set to manual calculation mode until you change it.
