calculation value

I am working in several tabed forms, I have worked out a sum for several
fields and all is good.... what i cant do is bring that value to a new field
in another form. Like this form A with obj1 + obj2 + obj3 shows
value in "total" how do i get value "total" in form A to a new field in form
B? Thanks all for your help!!

I'm curious to know how you created "tabbed forms". Why not create 1 form
with several views that are your "tabs"? You can switch between views using
the SwitchView rule. If you're working within 1 form, it is much easier to
use rules to set the values of fields based on other fields within the same
form, but which are located on different views.

how do i set up the switchview rules? I didnt think that several forms based
on the same table would make that much diffrence. As i said i am useing one
table and would like to seperate all the fields to make a more logical and
neeter looking interface.
I setup the tabbed forms by makeing each form and then just drag and drop
it into a main form with the tabs... it links it right to the tab.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same application. Are you using
InfoPath? Or are you using Access? If you're using Access, you may want to
try re-posting your question in the Access newsgroup, since this newsgroup is
only for InfoPath questions.
