Calendar (12) - Calendar always shows 12 unread items!

I've been having a problem with my calendar since someone sent me a meeting
request as an .ICS attachment. Since I saved the attachment to my calendar,
it displays 12 unread items. Here's what I've tried so far...

1. I did an advanced find for unread Items.
2. Changed the calendar views
3. Opened my mailbox thought "Outlook WEB Access"
4. Wiped out the entire contents of the calendar

HELP!!!!
