Calendar alarm malfunctions

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

I am using

Mac OS 10.4.11
Entourage 12.1.9

Calendar items with alarms do not show in Office Notifications consistently. Some appear a day after their alarm setting, some appear a month early. This seems to have started when I began using My Day, but I'm not sure.

I rely on the Calendar alarms and must have them working.

Please advise.
