Calendar and Excel

Good afternoon

I have a bit of an unusual request? I have been asked if
it is possible to link Excel with Outlook Calendar. What
the user would like to do is to click onto a particular
day in the Calendar, which would automatically open an
Excel worksheet they have created, containing all the
necessary information for that day.

Is there any way Outlook and Excel can be linked to
enable this?

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no automatic linking between Outlook and Excel. The easiest way to
do this might be to provide a file:// hyperlink in the body of the
appointment pointing to the relevant Excel file.
