Calendar appointments moving

Entourage 2008 with Ex. 2003, both fully patched.

some calendar appointments are moving an hour earlier, for only 1 user in our Ex. environment, which is mixed pc/mac.

example: user will create a 9:30am apt and invite people. Sometimes that apt. will duplicate itself an hour earlier and show as 'updated'.

other times it will simply move itself an hour earlier, and not create a dup.

sometimes it will move and not send out meeting update notices. Moved cal appointments are only sometimes relabeled as 'updated'

I have seen this happen, and can say for certain the user wasn't touching the Mac at all when it happened.

Sync services had been setup with iCal in the past, and it appeared to be running despite being disabled in Entourage. We completely reset iCal to defaults and completely reset sync services. problem persists.

There appears to be no rhyme or reason to what cal appointments are moving, they don't all move at the same time, and they don't get moved at specific times of the day or by specific actions the user takes.

The interesting part:
-----------------------
MFCMapi shows that the duplicated entries that have moved contain all of the correct appointment attributes, but the PR_URL_Name shows the .eml is actually the subject of an entirely different cal appointment.

example:
- cal apt. is duplicated, shows as updated and is an hour earlier and is named "Apt 1"
- MFC Mapi shows the cal apt url name is "Apt 55", which is the subject of a completely different cal apt., created on a different day with different people invited.
- The updated duplicate does not indicate anything about "Apt 55" in entourage/outlook/owa, it only shows the original "Apt 1" attributes.

Thoughts?
