Calendar Appointments Not Arriving to Invitee from some senders

I have one recipient that when an appointment is sent by some senders
does not receive any notification (no e-mail or appointment in
calendar) to their account. The senders and the recipient are all on
the same Exchange 2003 SP1 server, with IMF and BadMail filters
running, and in the same storage group (we only have one storage
group).

The recipient has been on the Required and the Optional line of the
appointment; I've check the calendar permissions level for those that
can send and can't send appointment requests and all are set to the
"author" level (we do extensive client appointments and anyone could
be called upon to book a client appoimtment for someone else) on the
recipient's calendar.

The client in all cases is Outlook 2003 SP1, and the server is Windows
Server 2003 SBS. Every system is patched up to the January 11, 2005
patch releases. There appears to be no correlation with respect t to
the client's O/S -- we have both Windows 2000 and Windows XP (again up
to Jan. 11/05 patches).

I'm at a loss for why this one individual cannot properly receive
appointment requests from some senders, and yet for other senders
there is no issue. Anyone have an idea what might be gonig wrong
here?

Thanks,
