calendar /appt invitations info not being added to liveone calend

i want a calendar invitation sent to a hotmail email to be auto added to a
calendar that will then sync w outlook thru outlook connector

the appt invite is being sent to hotmail email. when i click on the
"calendar" button in the email, the old style msn calendar opens and the
appt is added. this appt does not sync with the new windows liveone
calendar. this is all despite the fact that window liveone calendar is my
default calendar, ie if i am on the mymsn page and click calendar, the
windows liveone calendar is displayed.

appts added to windows live one page do sync w outlook.
