Calendar background color

I've been trying to change the background color in Outlook 2000's Calendar,
but nothing I set in Tools/Options/Calendar Options/Background Color seems
to affect the screen.

Am I doing something wrong?

I don't know, sorry...but you might want to suggest that feature for
future versions of Outlook. Send your suggestions to
(e-mail address removed) with "Outlook" in the subject line. Microsoft does
read the e-mails sent to these addresses, and the more users requesting
a certain feature, the more likely it will be implemented in the future.
