calendar, contacts disappear after outlook installation

i have installed outlook 2002 to replace 2000 - this
suggested by the cd for the new handheld that i have.
now i cannot access any of my contacts, calendar, tasks
etc. the error message comes up - this folder does not
exist. i thought that i followed that installation ok
any ideas ?

Search your system for .pst files. If the data still exists, then it will be in one of those files, which you can open with the File | Open | Outlook Data File command in Outlook.

If you don't see any .pst files after you search, you may need to adjust the settings in Windows Explorer to show hidden and system files. Choose Tools | Folder Options, then switch to the View tab, and select "Show hidden files and folders."
