Calendar Crashes any versions of Outlook (XP and 2000)

I was running Office XP Pro on my Toshiba P4HT with
Office XP Home and everything worked great except the
calendar and Outlook Today. Both would crash Outlook.
So I uninstalled Office XP and went to an old reliable
Office 2000 Pro. Same problem. I am running ActiveSync
3.7.1 for my dell PDA and it syncs fine. (Tried
uninstalling ActiveSync to see if it helped. Nope.)
When I reinstalled ActiveSync it synced all 2000+
appointments just fine but I still crash the program when
I try to open calendar. Does anyone have any ideas? I
am NOT connected to a network or server. This is my only
computer for my home office...
