Calendar Default Date Range Settings

Is it possible to adjust or customize the default date
range settings in Outlook Calendar so that it keeps no
more than one or two years history?

As it is now, the current US holidays I have in my
Outlook Calendar range from 2001 - 2006. I would prefer
a 10 year range that goes from 2003 - 2012. Is there an
editing, view, or preferences setting that allows me to
change this manually? Please advise at your earliest
convenience and thanks for your help!

Are those two separate questions or am I reading your post wrong? You can
use AutoArchive to keep only a year or two work of items in your main
Calendar at a time...and as for holidays, your best bet is to make each
holiday a recurring event so that you never have to worry about downloading
an updated holidays file for future years.
