Calendar discrepancy in Project 2002

Robert

Hello,
In Propject Pro 2002, I created a task : Duration = 5 days
Calendar : Tools / Options / Calendar : 7h/day and 35h/week. Calendar :
7h/day and 35h/week

In the Global Enterprise : Tools / Options / Calendar : 7h/day and 35h/week.
Calendar : 7h/day and 35h/week

in the Resource global : Tools / Options / Calendar : 7h/day and 35h/week
Calendar : 7h/day and 35h/week

In PWA 2002 : the tasks appears with Duration = 4,38 days
Looks like 35h in a 40h/week calendar !

Where is the trick ?
Thanks for help

Robert

Issues such as yours are usually caused by mismatched calendar settings in
Microsoft Project and Project Server. If your standard work schedule is a
35 hour work week, here is how to synchronize your calendar settings:

1. Open the Enterprise Global file, then click Tools - Change Working Time
and select the Standard calendar. Select the Monday through Friday column
headers and change the work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You DO NOT
need to change the Hours per day and Hours per week values to 35 hours in
the Enterprise Global, as doing so will have no effect on the situation.
Save and close the Enterprise Global. Exit Microsoft Project Professional
and then relaunch the software.

2. Open each enterprise project template in the Project Server database and
click Tools - Options - Calendar. Change the Default end time value to 4:00
PM, the Hours per day value to 7 hours, and the Hours per week value to 35
hours. Save and close the project template.

3. Open each project currently saved in the Project Server database and
complete the same steps as in #2.

Hope this helps.
