Calendar doesn't save appointments. How can this be fixed?

I am just trying to save my appointments on my Outlook Calendar. It no
longer allows me to save my appointments. I get an unknown error due to
80004005. I do a search to find out what this 80004005 error means and I get
more confused. I just want to save my appointments and update my calendar.
How can this error be corrected?
