Calendar during overnight working

W

whatzzup

Good Morning or Afternoon as it applies.

Could anyone please tell me how to assign duration in the "change working
time" part of the calendar to reflect working times that begins at 18:00hrs
to 06:00 next morning, meaning that the shift has a duration of 12hrs
starting say monday evening 6pm and conclude Tuesday morning 6am. This is
necessary as i have a job that is being worked on 5 days a week for several
months that has that working pattern.
Whenever i assign the times of working it return an error to say that the
start time can't be after the comence time, which is clearly not what i was
saying olr want to say.

Thanks all

Hi whatzzup ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The shift pattern has to be on one day. So set the times as 00:00 to 06:00
and then 18:00 to 00:00.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
