calendar entries before jan 04 are gone

I recently noticed that calendar entries before jan 04 are
gone. I sync this outlook with another computer using an
HP pocket pc. the entries are gone on all 3 platforms. I
imported a backup.pst file from march 04. Now I can see
items back to Sept 03, but no farther. Is there a view
option that hides older entries?
