Hi all

We have small team that is responsible for the booking of rooms on outlook.
Each room has its own calandar, anyone who wants to book a room sends a form
to the team, stating the date/times details and how many people in the room.
The team then scans through the rooms calendars for availability, finds the
right room, books it, then send out confirmation. They do a large amount of
bookings a day and i'm sure there must be a way of automating this.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Unless you allow the person to book their own rooms, there isn't too much
you can do to automate it.

Version of Outlook and Exchange? Are the rooms mailboxes or public folders?
if mailboxes, are the schedulers looking at the room's free/busy or the
actual calendar? The group schedule and scheduling assistant uses free/busy
data and shows you the next available slot.
