Calendar Event Time Zone Problem

Hi,

On my create calendar event window, the header says:
³Event time zone: Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana (Displayed)
Your computer¹s time zone: Central Time (US & Canada)².

But ³Central Time² as my computer¹s time zone is incorrect. My time zone is
Pacific Time.

When I ³Start:² an event at 9:00 AM, then close the window, the entry on the
calendar shows 10:00 AM. Central Time is one hour ahead of Pacific Time

I¹ve searched help and other places for a fix, but I can¹t find anything.

Any clues?

What does System Preferences Date & Time show?

The correct date is shown.
The correct time is shown
