Calendar events in Entourage disappear

I have been using Entourage 2008 since last summer when working with all my
appoinments/calendar events. I have also used the sync via iCal to see my
calendar in Google.
It has worked well for 4-5 months. Suddenly last week all my events
disappeared in Entourage.
As soon as I make a new event in the calendar it disappear in
Entourage(within a minute). If I uncheck the sync with iCal it doesn't
disappear. For the moment I have to register in both Entourage and iCal to
make it work. I don't use exchange.
I would like to know how to fix this - how do I do?

This happened to me too. After importing my iCal events to Entourage for about 2 hours, linking birthdays to events in the calendars, etc., all the events disappeared. I am so sick and tired of this application. I will not be using this program ever again. If I were you, you should do the same and just stick with OS X's Mail, Address Book and iCal programs. Instead of being productive with Entourage you are actually being more UNproductive because you will be troubleshooting problems all the time if you continue using Entourage.... however, if you need exchange server, then you are in bad luck... Good luck!

Obviously one of these ansty SyncServices issues. You could try
completely resetting SyncService, but that's never fun.

Try launching iSync and ask it to reset all data there. It might help,
