Please please please please, can you add a time-zone drop-down box to the
calendar / appointment form. Please! I truly don't understand why this has
never happened. Why?
1) My flight crosses two timezones. My travel agent says I leave Europe at
10:00 am and arrive in California at 3
m. What do I enter on my calendar? I
want to enter the time the agent has given me... but this information would
be incorrect if I sent it to California, or if someone was looking at my
availability.
2) Because the default would always be you current time-zone, there would
be less people in the world with incorrectly set timezones.
3) Not every meeting request I get comes from Outlook users (dont you
know?). So, when someone from Sweden tells me there is a meeting at 10 their
time, why can't I just enter on the form 10 and their time zone? My calendar
may not help, because my second timezone is US CEntral (my first is UK), so I
don't even have that help.
And then when you change the concept of all-day events to be attached to the
day and not midnight to midnight, we can do waht every traveller wants to do
and CHNAGE THE TIMEZONE on our PCs!
