Calendar Goes to 1987

Hi!
I have a gantt chart for my project. If I'm viewing the chart and change to
the calendar view, I'm in 1987. If I click on a task in my chart then go to
the calendar I'm in the ballpark. Is there a way to tell Project that I
don't want to go back any further than 2004?

I've never found a way round this - it must be a "feature"

I love those Microsoft "features", too. Guess I'll just have to muddle
