Greetings to all
Calendar hierarchy problem
Using Project 2007.
Multiple projects consolidated into a master project schedule.
Master resource pool – resources are shared with all projects.
Using the standard calendar for all project schedules, including the master
project schedule.
One resource which is only available for work on Mondays.
Created a resource calendar for this resource with only Mondays as working
times all other days are nonworking time, and have assigned this calendar to
the resource.
Tasks using this resource are set to “as soon as possibleâ€; these tasks are
also linked finish to start to a predecessor.
I understood that resource and task calendars would override the project
calendar.
However tasks are not being limited to Mondays only with the Monday
resource. Have I misunderstood the calendar hierarchy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
