Calendar: How to; type text across multiple cells

I want to type text and insert arrows across multiple date blocks (cells) in
my calendar. For example, how would I insert...

New Associate Training Week
--------------------------------->

....across date blocks (cells) for [MON] [TUE] [WED] [THU] [FRI]

Use Insert > Text Box. Draw the box across the cells and put the text
inside. You can also right-click the edge of the box, choose Format Text
Box, and set the fill color and outline color, etc.
