Calendar in public folders

Hey Guys
Here is the issue. One of our users cannot see 2 calendars that we have in our public folders, that is, he can open the calendars but he cannot see any of the appointments; the calendar is just blank. No erros, just no appointments. He has ownership rights. The problem follows him to other computers and other users can see the calendars when logged into his workstation. He can save appointments but they often show up at the wrong times to other users (he of course cannnot see them at all). Does anyone have any ideas? The user is using Windows 2000 pro and Office XP.
