Calendar invitation in email

Is there a way to add a calendar invitation into an email via a hyperlink or
button? I'm aware of the vCalendar feature, but this does not allow for
recipient tracking.

I want to send an email where the recipient can click something to add the
meeting to their calendar, and send me the acceptance confirmation. Is this
possible?

Thanks.

No need to ask more than once.

No need to be rude either, but that hasn't stopped you.

Perhaps you could offer assistance with my question rather than waste time
with your absolutely pointless response.

Incidentally, the forum bugs so I wasn't aware the message posted the first
time.

How is anything in that one sentence I posted pejorative in any way? You
have an odd definition of "rude". I think the one you want is "offensive in
manner or action" and what I said doesn't fit that definition. I'll concede
it might fit "occurring abruptly and disconcertingly", but that implies
you're generating any negative connotation.

You could easily have looked first, since the prior was was posted the
previous DAY (16 hours 40 minutes earlier, to be more precise), and you
could easily use some interface (like a real newsreader) other than the
buggy web interface. The "forum" didn't "bug". Your first message posted
fine.

Wow, you should consider spending a LOT less time in this forum and devote
the surplus to developing your interpersonal skills outside of your mum's
basement. Possibly a self-help group of some kind might be of interest to you.

Your dictionary is also no substitute for human contact - I would recommend
looking to replace that too.

Your stimulating comments have been invaluable, thank you, but an
intelligent user has posted a solution to my problem on the original post
that you so brilliantly pointed out did not bug.
