Hi,
We use Exchange 2003 together with OL 2002. Users notify us that calendar
items are disappearing from their calendars. The application event log on
the exchange box shows ID 8206, Source: EXCDO, "Calendaring agent failed
with error code 0x80070005 while saving appointment." Error code sometimes
is also 0x8004010f . In the error details, the smtp address of the meeting
coordinator shows up.
This brought me to KB article Q299046 - but this is about Exchange 2000,
file-level virus scanning on M: drive (which is hidden on Exchange 2003
anyway). Using the contentredirect.asp from the event viewer, cause and
solution(s) for Exchange 2000 are displayed.
Did anyone experience the same on Exchange 2003 and find a solution/remedy?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Markus
