Calendar items in Entourage are not sync-ing to Blackberry

I just bought a MacBook for work after being a long time PC/Outlook user. I've had an iMac at home for a year or so and have really liked it. I had hoped the transition would go more smoothly, but I'm about to take the thing back.

Here is one of my more significant problems: I cannot get my calendar to sync to the blackberry. The calendar is perfectly fine on the iMac, but after sync-ing with PocketMac my blackberry calendar does not have the information. It is as though nothing has happened. I can't get PocketMac to work at all on the MacBook.

I am afraid you'll have to ask the PocketMac folks about this one,

Pocketmac works fine with my Macbook Pro. What are you using for
Calendar, Addressbook etc. Make sure you have Pocketmac set to sync
with the right software e.g. Entourage, iCal etc. If your desktop has
all the correct information use the DataPurge utility and wipe your
databases clean on your BlackBerry. You could also tell Pocketmac to
over write the handheld from the desktop or vice-a-versa. The reason I
like the Datapurge utility is it completely wipes the data off the
BlackBerry ensuring the databases are completely clear. On a first
sync, it should just fill your BlackBerry. On a second or so sync, if
you've deleted something in either environment it will alert you to
this and you will have to take the appropriate action.

One thing with the BlackBerry - sync does work better under Windows
and the BlackBerry desktop manager using say Outlook. It was just
designed for that. Pocketmac is a third party utility that RIM chose
and provides from their website free of charge but sync on the Mac is
slightly fraught with issues these days, not related to BlackBerry but
BlackBerry brings its own to the table.
