Having recently started to use the Timeline view, I was puzzled to find that I was sometimes entering appointments on the wrong days. I have now discovered why.
I am using the Timeline view in the '1 day' setting, and to jump to a particular day I click on the thick grey bar above the time ruler, which pops up a little calendar. Great - I just choose the day I want, or click the 'Today' button. BUT - it doesn't work reliably. Usually this puts me on the correct day, but often it's shifted so that I'm centred on something like 22:00. This is irritating, but not that big a deal. HOWEVER, now and then Outlook seems to jump to the wrong day altogether - so if I choose March 16th, it jumps to March 17th instead. Of course I don't notice this, and enter my appointment on the wrong day.
Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround? I'm using Outlook 2000-SP3 on Windows XP Pro.
