Hi,
We have been running Outlook XP on Windows XP in our
organisation for a while now. Whenever anyone looks at
someone else's calendar it produces a "requesting data
from Microsoft exchange" message. This is particularly
frustrating to staff who manage other's calendars.
All 200 users mailboxes are on one Exchange 5.5 server
(SP3 I think) in the only site in the domain. There are
2 other exchange servers in the same site although they
don't have mailboxes and are used for other things.
Everyone is on a 100mb lan link.
When we tried Office 97 on Windows XP we didn't get a
problem and the calendars are fine.
could it be something in the registry which is trying to
get information from the other 2 exchange servers in our
site. The reason I say this is when I tried Outlook 2003
and tried to access someone elses calendar I got a popup
in the status bar saying "requesting data from 'server
name'" of our other server, not the main server with all
our mailboxes on.
What's going on? can anyone help?
cheers
Mike.
