calendar month

When I schedule a task to have a duration of 3 months,
starting on
Fri 10/1/04
I would like it to end on
Thu 12/31/04
but it ends on

Thu 12/23/04

What is the best way to change it so months and weeks
mean calendar months and weeks?

I'm trying to build a schedule based on quarters not work
days.

Sorry, a calendar month can be anywhere from 28 to 31 days so they are not
very useful. If you want to work on a quarterly basis, use weeks. There are
typically 13 weeks in a quarter except when there are 14. A week is always 7
days however. Once you add the holidays into your calendar things will get
thrown off again.

What I am trying to get at is that an initial project plan is an estimate by
necessity so don't worry about a day or two here and there.
