calendar options

I am wondering if anyone knows how to insert symbols into
the calendar or tasks. I also am curious about changing
font colors, background, and how to show priority other
than in the tasks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of symbols are you trying to add? Have you tried using
Character Map in Windows to copy and paste symbols from the available
Windows fonts?

For the rest of your questions, it might help to know what version of
Outlook you're using, and what specifically you want to accomplish.
