We are having some problems with using Distribution Lists
as a method for assigning permissions to Calendars. The
current setup is Exchange 2000 SP1 and a mixture of
Outlook 2000 and Outlook XP clients. If a user gives any
type of permissions (from Reviewer to Owner)to a
distribution group in Outlook the users contained in that
distribution list can open the Calendar but see not
entries. However, if a user gives explicit permissions
to a user(in the distribution list) then that user can
open the Calendar and see any items listed.
I have checked the Technet site and the Microsoft
knowledge base and can find no concrete answer to this
issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
