I have a question about recurring appointments stopping after a certain date
in calendar printing assistant.
After looking into the Calendar Printing Assistant program some more, we
have now reproduced the same problem with our helpdesk systems. With both
Outlooks being 2007, we made a recurring appointment on one system and shared
the calendar with mine. When I opened up Calendar Printing Assistant, the
recurring appointment stopped after Nov. 6. But when looking into the other
calendar it shows as recurring after that date. Now, I still have the
Calendar Printing Assistant and the other created a new recurring appointment
and that new recurring appointment shows up past Nov. 6. The only thing with
this is that when the Calendar Printing Assistant is closed, and when you
reopen it, all the recurring appointments even the new one created stop again
on Nov. 6.
I’ve searched on the internet for a solution, and only found that someone
else is having the same issue with no luck in fixing it. We also tested it
by adding a recurring appointment after that week, it worked initially with
the Calendar Printing Assistant open, it’ll show up for every month after,
but when you close it and restart it, it’ll stop on the same week of Feb.
17th , no matter what date it was created prior. It looks like the program
has a pre-set 2 month interval for recurring appointments. This only happens
when you pull someone else’s calendar. This 2 month pre-set interval doesn’t
seem to happen when pulling your own calendar, or a calendar from a public
folder.
(Sample 2-month intervals.) for recurring appointments.
Week – Nov. 4th 2007 – Feb. 17th 2008
(skips a week) Created on March 24th doesn’t show up at all after.
Week – March 2nd 2008 – June 8th 2008
Is this a known bug? or Is there a solution?
Thanks,
-Gordon
