I have a user that is using the Treo 700 and Verizon VZEmail to get his
exchange email remotely. The software he is using from Verizon only works if
he has Outlook open on his desktop.
At first we were having issues because his system was going into sleep mode,
so we stopped that, but now we have another issue. If a calendar reminder
pops up, all synching stops. Outlook doesn't even continue to add new
reminders to the reminder pop up window or synch with the exchange 2000
server.
Is there a way to either have the window close, say after 5 minutes, or to
have it not be modal in such a way that it doesn't need to be be closed and
the MAPI connection will continue to work normally? I would say stop using
the reminders, but he is an owner of the company and he refuses to do that.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
