Calendar schedule displays free/busy time incorrectly

I am an Exchange Admin in an environment running Exchange 2003 SP1 with
Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 clients.

I have a client who has some appointments in his calendar that are set to
show the time as busy and out of the office. The appointments display
correctly in his calendar, however when any other client creates a meeting
request and checks the Schedule tab, the time when these particular
appointments are scheduled for shows as free (blank, not ////).

The particular appointments that are booked for this time are:
Re-occurring with end dates (date range is less than 1 year)
Not marked as private
Same organiser as other similar appointments that display availability
correctly

I have opened the clients mailbox with a new profile (with my network
account on a different pc) and the appointments at the time that shows as
available do exist in the client's calendar.

Any assistance in determining the cause of this problem would be greatly
appreciated!
